AN/APG-67 radar
(USA/Taiwan)
Notes: The AN/APG-67 (originally General Electric’s “Project G-200”) was intended for the Northrop F-20 Tigershark; however after that fighter’s cancellation it was adopted in Taiwan’s Ching Kuo Indigineous Defense Fighter (IDF). It is a multi-mode X-band system, capable of air search, track, naval surface search, beacon homing, ground mapping, and AIM-7 Sparrow guidance. After successful adaptation to the IDF, Taiwan also upgraded many remaining F-5’s with this radar. South Korea later selected it for the A-50 attack plane.
