Notes: These small patrol boats did not live up to the Indian navy’s expectations. The gun is a turret from a BMP-2 armored personnel carrier. The remaining pair in Indian navy service are used for anti-poaching patrols and SAR in the Andaman and Nicobar islands.
Tillanchang was transferred to the Maldives’ National Security Service on 16 April 2006. India initially provided part of the crew, and will perform all upkeep until May 2009.
Tarmugli transferred to the Seychellian coast guard on 17 March 2001.
