This is a highly advanced multi-mode surface search radar for naval aircraft. The radar can spot a submarine's periscope from 25NM in good conditions, and can track up to 2000 targets at once.

Users: Australia (RAN AP-3C Orion upgrade, Heron UAV), Brazil (P-3C Orion upgrade), India (Jaguar upgrade, Dornier 228, Heron UAV), Israel (Westwind 1124, Heron UAV), New Zealand (P-3C Orion upgrade), South Africa (DC-3AMI upgrade), South Korea (National Maritime Police's Challenger 604), Spain (P-3C Orion upgrade), Sweden (DHC-8).

Sweden has also selected the radar to equip it's next-generation MPA. India is considering refitting some or all of it's surviving Soviet-built "May" and "Bear" planes with the radar, as well as it's carrier-borne Sea Harrier fleet.
