Cessna 210N Centurion
(United States)
Notes: The highest-performing variant of Cessna’s single engine line, the Centurion was designed in the late 1950s to meet what was then the top skill level of civilian amateur pilots in the United States. It features retractable landing gear and is instrument-rated. It has since been bought by a number of militaries as it offers better speed, range, and climbing rate than other Cessnas, but at a similar low operating cost. Cessna also offers a training course for foreign military pilots at it’s Kansas facility.
The military 210N version differs only in a simplified landing gear arrangement and a turbocharger for the engine. As far as is known, no user has armed the type.
The US military was never interested in the type.
